South Korean exchange Korbit will remove from listing five cryptocurrency

According to official South Korean news cryptocurrency exchange Korbit, the listing will be removed following five cryptocurrency: Dash, Monero, zcash for, Augur and Steem. Currently, these cryptocurrencies represented on the exchange through additional service «Other digital assets» (Other Digital Assets).

«Service «Other digital assets» will be closed. Will be gradually terminated the functions of buying and selling the following coins: Dash (Dash), Monero (XMR), zcash for (ZEC), Augur (REP) and Steem (STEEM),» reads the official statement of the exchange.

The function of purchasing the above five cryptocurrency will be closed may 28th and the sale will only close on June 21 this year. However, the company noted that it did not exclude that in the future the possibility of re-listing some of these crypto-currencies:

«We are working hard to ensure that our customers could safely trade the most amount of cryptocurrency, but we can’t yet say when the deleted coins will again take its place in the listing. Therefore, in order to protect their investments in these currencies, transfer them to another wallet or sell until the sell feature is still active».

Korbit will continue to support the trade of seven major cryptocurrencies: BTC, XRP, ETH, BCH, ETC, LTC and BTG.

Remains unclear only the reasons for this decision. That is why some members of the cryptocurrency market are already making assumptions. According to the most popular version of the exchange has taken this step due to the pressure regulator. It is known that in Japan the FSA is putting pressure on cryptocurrency exchanges, so they refused to support cryptocurrency with increased anonymity. However, such action by the Korean regulator has not reported.
