Senator Igor Fomin: «cryptotools would be a promising direction in Russia»

Chairman of the expert Council for tourism under the social policy Committee of the upper house of Parliament, Senator Igor Fomin believes that the development in Russia of Cryptocoryne is a promising direction that will be possible in the regulation of cryptocurrencies Russian legislation.

«Cryptotools in Russia would be a very promising and modern direction, but provided that we have a legal framework that will regulate the handling of cryptocurrencies in Russia,» said Fomin.

According to him, in the case of the legislative base in this area, it is advisable to consider the possibility of paying with a digital currency of tours and separate tourist services – hotels, meals, transport. This practice is already gaining popularity abroad.

Fomin also did not rule out the possibility of Russia’s national cryptocurrency.

«Maybe we have, for example, will have its own cryptocurrency. And then, on this basis, it is promising to use it,» he said.
