John McAfee called for a boycott of exchange HitBTC because of the high commissions

The founder of the company developed the first antivirus McAfee, well-known figure in the cryptocurrency space with more controversial John McAfee (John McAfee) last week declared war on the Hong Kong cryptocurrency exchange HitBTC, the daily turnover is more than $ 270 million.

«Cryptocurrency exchanges have become what we originally fought. Their power is immense. For example, HitBTC has aggravated the suffering of millions of poor people who can’t afford the minimum lot, as it exceeds their monthly income,» wrote McAfee in his Twitter and called for a boycott HitBTC.

The crypto exchanges have become the thing that we have originally fought against. Their power is immense. Hitbtc, for example, has increased suffering for millions of poor people who cannot afford the minimum buy-in since it is greater than their monthly income. Boycott them.

It seems that McAfee talked about the high commissions that HitBTC, like almost all other cryptocurrency exchanges charge for withdrawal of assets from the platform. His tweets are very vaguely describe the nature of the problem, but this did not prevent him to declare that he will be «worst enemy» HitBTC, the exchange will take unspecified steps to resolve unspecified issues.

Saturday HitBTC has published an official response in which he thanked McAfee for what he «brought the discussion to a new level» and highlighted the principles on which the costs are commissions and other fees. The exchange offered McAfee to present their vision of the «algorithmic solution» that reduces the Commission in terms of volatility of the cryptocurrency markets and related assets.

However, McAfee was not satisfied with this answer and continued attacks on the exchange:

«The algorithm killed a bunch of people. What can compensate for these deaths. You for no reason pursue Docademic. What did they do? Docademic deserves your highest priority for all of your past violations.»

It’s possible that McAfee is extremely concerned about the situation of clients HitBTC, but why did he mention it Docademic and how it relates to commissions exchange ?

Recently it became known
that McAfee takes $ 105 000 for the promotion of the ICO project on his Twitter. And if you remember that last month he promised
soon no longer to promote the ICO, it all becomes clear. It seems that this is just a dramatic ploy to just once again mention the token-ICO-project Docademic, about which McAfee has repeatedly said. In particular, he argued that the value of this token is easily comes to $ 10 from the current 0.25 dollar.

It is unknown whether Docademic McAfee pays for his tweets, but, he said, he has invested in this project.
